Artsakh Support Cafe in Yerevan

The Support Café for Artsakh Elders launched February 2025. The Support Cafe creates a supportive mental health program for displaced Artsakh residents aged 60 and older. The project is funded by the generosity of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) for a 12-week pilot project. This initiative creates a secure environment by supporting their mental health during this profound adjustment period and provides psychosocial interventions that include art therapy approaches with the goal of promoting socialization and healing. The Support Cafe is implemented by trained psychologists, social workers, art therapists as well as a trauma specialist.
